These eight puzzles compare annual patterns, observations, daylight, living things, weather, and place. They do not copy the spring, summer, fall, winter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas lists.
Activities are on pages 1-8. Highlighted answers are on pages 9-16.

Use a named pack for a seasonal unit, holiday gathering, classroom party, or several days of independent work.
Easy pages use forward-only paths. Medium pages add all eight directions. Challenging pages use longer terms and denser crossings.
Use the sampler for a general seasons lesson, observation project, or mixed group that needs three levels in one smaller file.
Obliquity means the tilt of Earth's axis. Insolation means incoming solar radiation. These are vocabulary searches, not a complete science lesson; look up unfamiliar words before finding them.
NASA: axial tilt and insolation · NOAA: air masses
A printable should not imply that every place follows one weather calendar. Northern and Southern Hemisphere seasons occur at opposite times, while tropical regions may be described more accurately with wet and dry periods.
Earth's tilted axis changes the angle and duration of sunlight received by each hemisphere as Earth travels around the Sun. Distance from the Sun is not the main cause. Weather is what happens over short periods; climate describes longer-term patterns in a place.
Every target is reconstructed from its saved start, direction, and endpoint in the final letter grid.
An eight-direction scanner requires each listed target to occur exactly once and verifies the level rules.
Complete grids are checked for reuse. Familiar vocabulary may recur in independently built themes; natural spelling is not sacrificed to word-level novelty.
