How the work is made

Puzzle and Editorial Standards

A printable puzzle page should deliver a complete activity, not just target a search phrase. These standards explain what is checked before a collection is published.

Independent page value

Each canonical page serves a distinct puzzle type, audience need, format, difficulty, or seasonal intent. A new title alone is not treated as a new resource: each page must contain its own useful puzzle assets and answers.

Originality

Word lists, clues, puzzle layouts, answer sets, illustrations, and explanatory copy are created for the named collection. We avoid protected characters, teams, entertainment properties, publisher artwork, and brand-dependent themes.

Mechanical validation

Validation is matched to the puzzle mechanism. Examples include coordinate read-back and occurrence scans for word searches, constraint solving and uniqueness checks for number and logic puzzles, connectivity and path checks for mazes, and entry-to-grid checks for crosswords. Answers are generated from the final puzzle state rather than recreated by sight.

Print validation

US Letter and A4 files are generated as separate true-size editions. Page counts, puzzle-to-answer order, margins, legibility, and linked download paths are checked before release.

Difficulty and audience labels

Labels such as Easy, Challenging, Kids, Adult, or Large Print describe the puzzle construction or physical format used in that collection. They are not assessments of a person's intelligence, health, cognition, education, or expected outcome.

Factual themes and sources

When a puzzle includes scientific, geographic, historical, or safety-related context, terminology is checked against suitable authoritative sources. Sources support factual notes; they do not replace the original puzzle assets.

Corrections and revisions

A confirmed error should be corrected in the webpage, both paper-size files, and the corresponding answer material where applicable. Editions may be updated to make revisions traceable. A monitored correction channel will be added on the Contact page once a domain-based mailbox is configured.
