A 4x4 Sudoku has four rows, four columns, and four 2x2 boxes. Fill every row, column, and box with 1, 2, 3, and 4 exactly once. A digit cannot repeat inside any unit. The numbers act as symbols, so the puzzle uses logic rather than arithmetic.
Six open cells and a generous starting pattern. Every final trace completes with singles only.
Eight open cells with fewer immediate placements. Every final trace completes with singles only.
Ten open cells while remaining solvable by recorded singles. Every final trace completes with singles only.
Page 1 teaches the rule. Pages 2-7 hold all 24 main puzzles, pages 8-9 add four 6x6 next steps, and pages 10-13 contain answers.
These are Puzzles 1, 9, and 17 from the final downloads, not decorative samples.

Look at row 1, column 3 and identify the missing digits.

The new digit changes the candidates in crossing units. Continue one single at a time.
The counts come from the saved final grids and deterministic solve traces.
