How difficulty and accuracy are handled
Hard by construction
Every puzzle uses a large grid, 24 target words, all eight directions, backward placements, diagonal placements, and intentional overlaps.
Answers stay separate
Puzzle pages come first, so the highlighted solutions do not appear beside the activity. Each answer page repeats the same grid and marks every intended path.
Checked before publishing
The saved start and end position for every word is read back from the finished grid. Publication stops if a word, direction, count, or boundary check fails.
Printing tips
Use the Letter file for 8.5×11-inch paper and the A4 file for 210×297-mm paper. Print at 100% or “actual size” for the intended margins. If you only need activities, print pages 1–10; answers are on pages 11–20.
Use permission: You may print copies for personal use, one classroom, a library activity, or a care-home group. Please do not resell the files, remove the edition notice, upload the PDFs elsewhere, or bundle them into another product.
